Overview

AWS Cloud & AI Practitioner, shown on your home screen as Daily AWS (“the App”), is developed by Natalia Ortiz (“we”, “us”, “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, why, and what you can do about it.

The App is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Amazon Web Services, Inc. or Amazon.com, Inc.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address — used to sign you in and to recover your account
• Display name — taken from your email address or your Apple sign-in

Learning Progress

We store the lessons you complete, your scores and stars, your XP and your streak, so your progress follows you between devices.

Practice Exams

When you take a diagnostic or a full practice exam, we store the attempt: which exam and questions it used, your answers, your estimated score and your result per exam domain. This lets the App show your past attempts and give you questions you have not seen before.

Usage Events

The App records a small set of events about how it is used — for example that a lesson was started or finished, that the paywall was shown, or that an exam was completed — together with basic context such as the app version, the selected exam and whether the account is premium. We use these events only to understand and improve the App. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Feedback and Survey

If you send feedback or answer the short survey in the App, we store what you submit (your ratings and any text you write), the email address on your account or the one you typed, and the app version, platform and language.

Authentication

You can sign in with Apple or with an email and password. With Sign in with Apple we receive only what is needed to create your account (an identifier, and the name and email you choose to share, which may be a private relay address). We do not access your contacts, photos or any other data.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details; we only receive whether your purchase is active.

Notifications

Streak reminders are scheduled on your device and only if you allow notifications. No notification data is sent to us.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide the App: your account, lessons, practice exams and progress
• To show your statistics, past exam attempts and streaks
• To send streak reminders, only if you opt in
• To unlock premium content after a purchase
• To read and answer feedback, and to decide what to improve

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on Supabase, in a data centre in London, United Kingdom (AWS region eu-west-2). Row Level Security ensures each user can read and change only their own data.

Third-Party Services

• Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com/privacy)
• Apple — Sign in with Apple, App Store purchases and notifications (apple.com/privacy)
• Resend — delivers feedback and survey answers to our inbox (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy)

Data Retention

Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from the App: Profile › Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and removes your account, profile, progress, practice exam attempts and usage events.

Feedback and survey answers you have sent are kept so we can still act on them, but they are no longer linked to any account. If you want them removed too, write to us from the address you used and we will delete them.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and UK GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you and get a copy of it
• Correct or delete your data
• Object to or restrict how we use it
• Withdraw consent, for example by turning off notifications
• Complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD)

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will show the date of the latest change at the top of this page and let you know in the App about significant changes.
