Frequently Asked Questions
Azure Cloud & AI Fundamentals (Daily Azure) · Last updated: September 17, 2026
Which exams does the app cover?
Two Microsoft certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) — 11 sections, 88 lessons and 166 practice exam questions across the three skill areas of the exam
- Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals (AI-901) — 11 sections, 88 lessons and 166 practice exam questions across its two skill areas, including generative AI, agents and building solutions with Microsoft Foundry
You can switch between the two at any time; your progress in each is kept separately.
Does it cover AI-900?
No. Microsoft retired AI-900 on June 30, 2026 and replaced it with AI-901, a different exam with a different skills outline. The app teaches AI-901. Older AI-900 material covers machine learning topics that AI-901 no longer tests and misses much of what it does.
Is it affiliated with Microsoft?
No. Azure Cloud & AI Fundamentals is an independent study app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Microsoft. The questions are written from Microsoft’s public study guides and documentation on Microsoft Learn — they are not real exam questions.
Why is it called Daily Azure on my home screen?
The full name doesn’t fit under an app icon, so iOS shows the short name, Daily Azure. It is the same app.
How do the practice exams work?
There are two kinds:
- Diagnostic — 20 questions, untimed and free. It shows how you do in each skill area and suggests what to study next.
- Full practice exam — 50 questions in 45 minutes. Microsoft gives these exams 45 minutes but doesn’t publish the exact number of questions, so 50 is our estimate. Questions are drawn according to each skill area’s weight in the study guide, and you see questions you haven’t answered before first.
Both include single-answer and “Choose TWO” multiple-response questions, a list to review every answer with its explanation, and your past attempts. The real exams can also use other formats, such as drag-and-drop or yes/no statements, that the app doesn’t reproduce.
Is the score the same as the real exam?
No — it is an estimate. Microsoft reports a score from 1 to 1000 with 700 to pass, but it does not publish how answers map to that scale. The app turns your percentage of correct answers into a score on a similar scale, so treat 700 as a target, not a promise.
Is the content up to date?
It was written and reviewed in September 2026 against Microsoft’s current study guides and product documentation, including the move from AI-900 to AI-901, Microsoft Foundry and its agents, and renamed or retired products such as Microsoft Entra ID, Foundry Tools, the TCO calculator and DALL-E 3.
Is it free?
The app is free to download. The first section of each exam course and the diagnostic test are free. Premium unlocks every section and the full practice exams.
You need a free account so your progress, streak and exam attempts are saved and follow you between devices.
How much does Premium cost?
Premium is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The exact price for your country is shown in the app before you confirm.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The lifetime purchase is paid once and can be restored on your devices with the same Apple ID via Restore purchases.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are handled by the App Store:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your Apple ID at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Choose Azure Cloud & AI Fundamentals and tap Cancel Subscription
You keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription — cancel it first.
Does it work offline?
No. Lessons and exam questions are loaded from our servers, so the app needs an internet connection. If the connection drops, the app tells you and retries.
What languages are supported?
English only for now, the language the exams are most often taken in.
How do I delete my account?
- Open the app and go to Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm
This is immediate and cannot be undone. It deletes your sign-in details and email address, your profile, your lesson progress, XP and streak, your practice exam attempts and your usage history in the app.
We keep feedback and survey answers you sent us, no longer linked to any account. If you want those removed too, email nortiz.tech@gmail.com from the address you used.
How do I contact support?
Email nortiz.tech@gmail.com, or send feedback from the app in Settings › Feedback.
