Which exams does the app cover?

Two certifications from PMI:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)® — 15 sections, 120 lessons and 400 practice exam questions across the three domains of the exam
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® — 11 sections, 88 lessons and 300 practice exam questions across its four domains, including the business analysis domain that many study materials skip

You can switch between the two at any time; your progress in each is kept separately.

Is it written for the new PMP exam?

Yes. The PMP exam changed on 9 July 2026 and the app follows the outline that took effect then: People 33%, Process 41% and Business Environment 26%, with governance, risk, issues and change control sitting in Business Environment, and roughly 40% predictive against 60% agile and hybrid. Its reference is the eighth edition of the PMBOK® Guide.

The CAPM exam did not change with it. It still follows its 2023 outline and the seventh edition, so the two courses are written separately rather than sharing one set of questions.

Is it affiliated with PMI?

No. Daily PM is an independent study app. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Project Management Institute, Inc., and it is not a PMI Authorized Training Partner. Every lesson, exercise and question is written by us in our own words from the publicly available exam content outlines — they are not actual exam questions.

Does it give me contact hours or PDUs?

No. The app does not provide contact hours, professional development units, or any credit towards a certification or its renewal, and it does not make you eligible to sit an exam. Eligibility, application and scheduling are handled by PMI.

How do the practice exams work?

There are two kinds:

  • Diagnostic — 20 questions, untimed and free. It shows how you do in each domain and suggests what to study next.
  • Full practice exam — 180 questions in 240 minutes for the PMP exam, and 150 questions in 180 minutes for the CAPM exam, matching the length and time of the real ones. Questions are drawn according to each domain’s published weight, and you see questions you haven’t answered before first.

Both include single-answer and “Choose TWO” multiple-response questions, a list to review every answer with its explanation, and your past attempts. The real exams can also use formats the app doesn’t reproduce, such as graphic-based items.

Is the score the same as the real exam?

No. PMI does not publish a passing score or how answers map to a scale, so the app’s score is an estimate. It uses 700 out of 1000 — two thirds of the questions right — as a target to aim at, not a promise. Treat a good practice score as a sign you are ready to book the exam, not as a guarantee.

Is it free?

The app is free to download. The first section of each course and the diagnostic test are free. Premium unlocks every section and the full-length practice exams.

You need a free account so your progress, streak and exam attempts are saved and follow you between devices.

How much does Premium cost?

Premium is available as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The exact price for your country is shown in the app before you confirm.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The lifetime purchase is paid once and can be restored with Restore purchases on your devices signed in to the same Apple ID.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are handled by Apple:

  1. Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name, then Subscriptions
  3. Choose Daily PM and tap Cancel Subscription

Cancelling keeps Premium until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting your account in the app does not cancel the subscription — cancel it in the App Store first.

Does it work offline?

No. Lessons and exam questions are loaded from our servers, so the app needs an internet connection. If the connection drops, the app tells you and retries.

What languages are supported?

English only for now, the language the exams are most often taken in.

How do I delete my account?

  1. Open the app and go to Settings
  2. Tap Delete Account
  3. Confirm

This is immediate and cannot be undone. It deletes your sign-in details and email address, your profile, your lesson progress, XP and streak, your practice exam attempts and your usage history in the app.

We keep feedback and survey answers you sent us, no longer linked to any account. If you want those removed too, email soporte@nortiz-tech.com from the address you used.
